When the Microbe Shield is applied as a mist, the micro thin coating forms a very strong bond with the treated surface after drying. It can be likened to having millions of sword-shaped “road spikes” on the surface – each of which will attract, pierce and kill the membrane of the pathogen.

Because the pathogen is not killed by poisoning with toxic chemicals, they cannot adapt to it so there is no possibility of resistance developing (i.e. no superbugs).

Electrostatic Sprayer

Electrostatic sprayers are used to cover large areas of service quickly, effectively & efficiently. Due to the efficacy of the sprayers, less solution is used. Electrostatic sprayers use 70 percent less solution than a traditional trigger sprayer. With less solution used and no pooling or puddling, surfaces dry 60 percent faster.

As the Microbe Shield solution leaves the sprayer, it wraps itself around a surface, covering all areas, including the backsides and undersides of objects.

Used to touch up high touch-point areas like doorknobs, faucets, elevator buttons, grocery carts, car/bus interiors, etc.


When applied to a surface by spraying or wiping; Microbe Shield leaves behind a mono-molecular layer that permanently bonds to the surface.

These molecules are antimicrobial, silane-based polymers that covalently bond to the surface forming a barrier of positively charged microscopic pins.

The positively charged microscopic pins attract and pierce negatively charged pathogens. The pins rupture viral particles and bacteria causing the pathogen to break up with lethal effect. The layer of molecular antimicrobial pins continues working for up to 30 days on surfaces.

Routine cleaning can continue and does not disrupt Microbe Shield’s molecule or its antimicrobial activity.
